Mr. Newcom is a 1978 graduate of Baylor University and was certified by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant on November 21, 1981. He worked at Weaver And Tidwell upon graduation from Baylor and began an accounting partnership with two other CPA's that lasted from 1984 to 1991. Active in the local community Mr. Newcom went to school, and grew up within 2 miles of his current location. He currently serves as Vice-President on the local Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District Board of Trustees and has served on this board since his election in 1995. He is treasurer of the Saginaw Area Optimist Club and the Boswell-Wayside-Highland-Creekview Athletic Booster Club. He is actively involved with the Saginaw Area Chamber of Commerce, the Northwest Area Chamber of Commerce and is Administrative Secretary of the Fort Worth Chapter-Basketball of Texas Association of Sports Officials.

The accounting firm is currently constructing a building where it will relocate to in November of 2004 at 4726 Boat Club Road only a 1/2 block north from its current location at the corner of Boat Club Road and Reef Point Lane where it has been located for the past 13 years. The firm is a full service accounting firm priding itself on quality and timely service on all bookkeeping, payroll, financial statements and tax compliance and planning issues.
